NCPDP support includes both versions 1.1 for batch and 5.1 for online pharmacy transactions. Using the same validation process for HIPAA EDI transactions, NCPDP validation includes syntax, symantical, external table edits, and optionally additional payer-specific edits within a single execution pass. The same production flow used in Foresight’s market-leading HIPAA Validator® DeskTop, CommunityManager™ and InStream™ will now protect applications from receiving non-compliant HIPAA EDI/NCPDP data and causing system challenges.
